Snow, Sleet Warning for Macungie Friday

The work and school week may end with a wintry mix, according to weather forecasters

Another winter storm is on the way and it could make for very messy travel on Friday morning.

Snow is expected to start falling in Macungie after in the very early hours of Friday around 1 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Snow will be followed by a mix of sleet. freezing rain and rain changing to all rain after 9 a.m. Friday.

The precipitation could change back to snow Friday night.

Then the storm will clear out leaving sunny skies, blustery breezes and a high of 33 degrees on Saturday.

WFMZ also says we can expect a wintry mix Thursday night and Friday with some snow accumulation possible, but Ed Hanna says it's too soon to accurately predict accumulations.
