Meet the East Penn School Board Candidates

The League of Women Voters of Lehigh County and East Penn Interested Citizens (EPIC) are hosting a "Meet the Candidates Night" on Oct. 22.

Voters in East Penn School District will have the chance to get to know the candidates in the school board race a bit better on Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. through a "Meet the Candidates" hosted by The League of Women Voters of Lehigh County and East Penn Interested Citizens (EPIC).

The event, to be held at The Macungie Institute, 510 Main St., Macungie, will be an opportunity for voters to "come ask questions, hear where candidates stand on issues, and make an informed vote on Election Day," according to a flyer about the program.

Four open seats on the board will be filled through the upcoming general election on Nov. 5.

Incumbent school directors Alan Earnshaw and Rebecca Heid will be on both the Republican and Democratic ballots.

Chris Donatelli and Garrett Rhoads will fill the remaining two Republican slots on the November ballot, while candidates Z.W. Munson and Francee Fuller will fill the remaining two Democratic ballot positions.
