This Week at LML

There are a few children's programs and computer classes going on this week at the library! Stop in or call for more details. All programs except the drop-by storytimes require advanced registration.

This week at the Library:

Wednesday:

Drop-by Storytimes, 10:30am and 12:30pm; for children who were in the 2, 3 or 4 year old storytimes OR kindergarten this school year; no registration required.

Friday:

Baby Lapsit, 9:30am, a “beginner storytime”/introduction to the library for children who were 0-11 months old as of 9/12/10; advanced registration required.

Ones Storytime, 10:30am; a “beginner storytime”/introduction to the library for children who were 12-23 months old as of 9/12/10; advanced registration required.

Intro to Computer Basics: Level 2, 11am; adult computer class; advanced registration and a $5 class fee required. Requires a basic understanding of the computer and the skills from Level 1, topics will include cut & paste; file management; webpage toolbar functions; control panel functions; and simple web searches.

Saturday:

Intro to Genealogy; 9am; adult computer class; advanced registration and $5 class fee required.

In addition to the programs, new this week, we have pre-order information available for our children's book event on June 18th, Paloozival! You can order online through Harleysville Books, or pick up a print form in the library (soon to be on the website) and send it into the bookstore. If you are unable to attend the event, you will be able to purchase books to be signed and picked up at the library following the event, so don't miss out on adding a signed book to your child's personal library! Your purchase of books will also support the library! More details to come on ordering.
