This Week at LML

There are no actual programs this week, following Saturday’s and before we start summer programming next week, but signups are now out for the Adult Summer Reading!

Did you know we have programs for adults, too? Last week, we had a successful “Crop Circles” presentation by Mainline Mutual UFO Nework’s Jennifer Stein. Now, we have some summer programs available! Programs include July 13th’s “Lit & Lemonade” program in the gazebo and August 3rd’s “Read the Book, See the Movie” discussion on Eat, Pray, Love.

And if you’re planning on reading over the summer (we hope you are!), why not enter our Adult Summer Reading Raffle, where you could possibly win prizes for reading? For every book you read, you receive a raffle ticket and each week, we’ll pick a winner to receive a prize from our weekly Vendor of the Week! This week’s prize is a $20 gift card to Wegman’s. There are more giftcards to grocery stores, restaurants and even a Keurig! The first 50 adults to sign up to participate in the raffle get a goodie bag with a few gifts from local vendors, and we’re already more than half way through those, so stop in and sign up soon!

Next week, the kids Summer Reading Club kicks off on Monday at 6:30 in the community center, with Rita’s, Crayola and other giveaways for kids on a first come, first serve basis!
