This Week at the Library

Leprechauns, Jack and the Beanstalk, and a whole lotta reading!!

I just realized over the weekend, this is my fifth summer reading club, and no matter how many I've done, there's this weird "time goes by so fast, yet it feels like the summer's been much longer" effect. Maybe because it's jam-packed with programs... we fit a lot into a short amount of time. But here we are just past the midway point in July and more than halfway through the summer reading program for kids, teens and adults at the library. We'll have closed the books on yet another summer of reading by this time next month! We've been busy here at the library, but you've been busy at home reading, too! Based on the various ways we track for children's, teens and adult reading programs, I'd estimate that LML patrons have read somewhere around 3,500 books so far this summer! Way to go!
