This Week at the Library: Closed Friday, Reopens Saturday

This week at the library: an off week from storytimes and closing on Friday, but computer classes will be held.

Supposedly this is Spring break, but I’m not seeing much Spring-like weather  outside the library windows right now! It’s also my off week from storytimes, so there are no children’s programs at all this week. If any kids stop in during the week, though, please come back and say hi! I’ll be working on details for summer reading, trying not to get distracted too often by a shiny new piece of jewelry on my hand.

Some exciting new things for the program this year: I’m working on getting local DJs to kindly donate some time to spin tunes for the kids at both the Kickoff and Finale this year, and we have the Lower Macungie Garden Club doing some programs with the kids. This summer’s theme is “Dig into Reading” and covers dirt, soil, mud, construction, gardening, archeology, pirates and more.

While there are no programs for kids this week, there are some computer classes for adults going on…
