This Week at the Library

Lots of new things at LML and we’ve shared them as they come out on our Facebook page… but just to make sure you’re aware of them over here on Patch:

We installed a new public printer/copier for you to use! Patrons who’ve used it have been thrilled with the faster printing and in general “updated” technology.

We have new library bags with brand new designs available to purchase! We’ve updated the traditional LML “adult” tote bag in blue, and there’s a new kids nylon bookbag in yellow. They sell for $10 and $6 respectively.  There’s also still LML bumper magnets available for $5… all great ways to show your support for your public library AND get something useful!

Now onto programs! It's an "off" week from storytimes, so no regular weekly program for the 2s, 3s or 4s, but there are still a few other programs going on!

This Week at the Library:

Find out what's happening in Lower Macungiewith free, real-time updates from Patch.

Monday: Roots; 6:30pm; Gr 2nd- 3rd. This is our monthly program for children in second and third grade.  We “dug” the “Dig” summer reading theme so much, we decided to keep it going during the school year, focusing on “roots”… plants, trees, hair, family history. Each month we’ll read some stories and do a craft. Advanced registration is required.

Thursday: Intro to Computer Basics: Level 2; 11am-1pm. Topics will include how to cut and paste, file management, webpage toolbar functions, control panel functions, and simple web searches. Advanced registration and a $5 class fee are required.

Friday: Baby Lapsit; 9:30am. Introduction to the library for babies who were 0-11 months old as of 9/12/12. Advanced registration is required.

Ones Storytime; 10:30am. Introduction to the library for toddlers who were 12-23 months old as of 9/12/12. Advanced registration is required.

As always, if you have any questions on programs or the library in general, please stop in, call or visit our website!
