I just got my head wrapped around it being Fall as the temperatures drop, but tomorrow starts October? The year is now officially ¾ over!
First week of the month means our adult book discussion group meets. If you haven’t checked that out yet, they meet the first Wednesday of each month in the Grand Ballroom of the township building. Along with the discussion, they serve light refreshments!

Monday: Job Searching & Resume Basics, 11am-1pm. This class will explore a variety of online employment resources (from skill assessments to popular job search sites), introduce the print career resources available at the library, and cover resume and cover letter writing basics. Advanced registration and a $5 class fee is required before signup.

Tuesday: 4 year old storytimes, 10:30am and 12:30pm. Advanced registration is required for storytimes, as there’s a limit to how many kids I can fit into the program room, plus advanced registration helps me prepare for the right number of kids… not ending up “short” or wasting craft supplies when people don’t show, and there’s an age cutoff date of 9/12 based on the East Penn School District.
Wednesday: LML Book Club Meeting, 10:30; LMT Grand Ballroom. This month’s selection is The Swerve: How the World Became Modern by Stephen Greenbalt. Light refreshments will be served. For more information, contact the library.

Friday: Baby Lapsit; 9:30am. Introduction to the library for babies who were 0-11 months old as of 9/12/12. Advanced registration is required.
Ones Storytime; 10:30am. Introduction to the library for toddlers who were 12-23 months old as of 9/12/12. Advanced registration is required.
As we finish up National Library Card Signup Month on Monday, beginning Tuesday, the LML bumper magnets are now available for sale to all our patrons. They are $5 each and a fun way to support the library!
