This Week at the Library

Calling all Book Sale Lovers…

Save the Date for Friday, November 22nd and Saturday, 23rd for our annual Fall Book Sale, held from 9am-4:30pm. Preview night for any Friends members will be on Thursday, November 21st from 5-7:30pm. There will be a bag sale from 2:30-4:30, $5/bag, on Saturday to wrap up the sale. Just over three weeks away, so don’t forget to mark down the date.

Let me just take a minute to brag, because the library staff doesn’t plan, organize and run this sale, the Friends of LML do, and they are AMAZING! Members have been here many mornings organizing books for the sale. And when I say organizing, mean these books are organized by Children’s, Young Adult and Adult; they’re organized by fiction (alphabetical by last name) and non-fiction. The Friends have gone to a lot of effort to make book selecting as easy as possible for you to browse… so when you come in for the sale, please, thank them!

The book sale also runs at the same time as the Community Center wide craft fair, so it’s a great day to get a lot of holiday shopping done, but please note, it will be crowded!

Now onto programs!
