This Week at the Library

Mirage, The Valley of Amazement, Alligiant, We Are Water, Just One Evil Act, The Circle, The Eye of Minds, Longbourn, The Signature of All Things, Flora & Ulysses, The Lowland, The Night is Forever, The Longest Ride, Treasure Hunters, More Than This, MaddAddam, Never Go Back...

These are just a small selection of the new eBook titles now available through the Carbon Lehigh Downloadable Library! In fact, many of you have already jumped on these titles since they went in on Saturday, so if you haven’t yet made your way to the CLDL website, make sure you check out the collection soon to see what's still available. If you see something you’d like to read that’s already checked out, it’s simple to add a request for the title. You’ll be notified as soon as the current user returns the title! There's some great titles there, so don’t delay!

We resume the next cycle of storytimes again this week, so if you signed up for one of the three age groups, we look forward to seeing you this week! On Saturday, we'll have our Halloween storytime for all kids... they can come dressed in costume and get a trial run (and candy!) before next week.

Monday: Roots; 6:30pm; Gr 4-7th. This is our monthly program for children in 4th through 7th  grade.  We “dug” the “Dig” summer reading theme so much, we decided to keep it going during the school year, focusing on “roots”… plants, trees, hair, family history. Each month we’ll read some stories and do a craft. Advanced registration is required.

Tuesday: 4 year old storytimes, 10:30am and 12:30pm. Advanced registration is required for storytimes, as there’s a limit to how many kids I can fit into the program room, plus advanced registration helps me prepare for the right number of kids… not ending up “short” or wasting craft supplies when people don’t show, and there’s an age cutoff date of 9/12 based on the East Penn School District.
