REP. Ryan Mackenzie to Speak at PRO Martial Arts on School Violence

REP. RYAN MACKENZIE ADDRESSES SAFETY IN SCHOOLS FRIDAY, 6 P.M. AT PR MARTIAL ARTS DOJO

WHAT: PRO Martial Arts Dojo in Trexlertown hosts Representative Ryan Mackenzie Friday, Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. during an event addressing efforts to reduce school violence and recent grants that have been established to help tackle the issue in the community. Time is available for questions following Rep. Mackenzie’s talk.

WHO:                Representative Ryan Mackenzie has maintained involvement in education and child safety during his term as Representative.  He recently announced the application period for the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s 2013-2014 Safe Schools Targeted Grants program is open.

PRO Martial Arts also works to provide community education in an effort to reduce school and online violence using the ARMOR Bullying and Predator Prevention Program, teaching children awareness and self-esteem.
