Community Fun Day: Emmaus Public Library Book Sale and Nutrition, Health and Safety Fair

A fire safety house,  exhibits by first responder units and costumed characters will make special appearances Saturday, April 28, during a day of community fun at The Lower Macungie Middle School at 6299 Lower Macungie Road in Lower Macungie Township.   The day includes the 14th annual used book sale sponsored by the Friends of the Emmaus Public Library and a children’s health and safety fair organized by The Nutrition Group, the food service company of the East Penn School District.

The nutrition, health and safety fair will be arranged throughout  the school lobby and parking lot from 9 a.m. to 1:30  p.m.  Some participants include: Lehigh Valley Hospital, the Burn Prevention Foundation, FREE Zumba in the gym, the Infection Control Department- Hand Washing Techniques, Pocono Diary,  Butterkrust Bread, Primo Produce,  Domino’s Pizza and  Reinhart Food Service. The event was arranged by Doug DeIvernois, regional manager of The Nutrition Group. and Aneita Sutton, the food service director for the East Penn School District.
