Community Events at the Macungie Institute this Week

Dont miss the Community Events at the MI this week!

We have several community events scheduled at the MI this week:

*  Tonight (Monday, May 16) from 6 pm - 8 pm  the Salvation Army Children's Services Foster Care Program will present a "Care N Share" meeting.  It will be a time of discussion and sharing of information.  Come out and hear foster parents share their personal stories and learn how you can help care for children in need.  Join us for a casual and informative evening, with light refreshments.    For more information, call Rachel Paashaus 610-821-7706 or visit www.care4kids.net.

* On Thursday, May 19 at 7 pm  the Macungie & Lower Macungie Historical Societies will be hosting  "Lehigh Valley Transit Company in Color" - a lecture & book signing presented by Douglas E. Peters.  Check it out.  The program is FREE and open to the public.  The Macungie Local History Museum will be open that night and  if you haven't seen it recently, it's definitely worth a visit.  For more information, visit the Macungie Historical Society website  or call 610-965-0372.
