Holiday Crafts and Farmers Market Vendors Highlight MACUNGIE HOLIDAY Shopping

Great Gifts available from artisans & crafters & Farmers Market Vendors during MACUNGIE HOLIDAY

visitors will see beautiful holiday crafts offered at two locations this Saturday.  stone building -- upper level will feature local artisans and crafters with special items to fill your holiday shopping needs.  The lower level will feature Macungie Pool’s Annual Cookie Sale Table along with “Miss Alice’s” well known hot turkey BBQ sandwiches.

 Pet photos will also be available in the Park building.

at 510 E. Main Street will feature two rooms of holiday crafts and gifts. Local artisans & crafters Patti Umlauf, Chris Wilsker, Barb Martin and Denise Tempest will be displaying their special creations.

Several Vendors will also be on hand with their own special treats and holiday gift items. Stop in and see the folks from Apple Ridge Farm, Hereford Country Store, , Pappy’s Orchard, and Rolling Hills Garlic Vinegar.  Even “Farmer Bill” will be selling his famous caramel apples as a fund raiser for the Farmers Market.

Local Girl Scout troops will have holiday displays and crafts or other items for sale at the Macungie Institute.  They will also be collecting food items for their Food Drive & need your donations.

will be selling hot dogs & snacks in the Macungie Institute’s lower level and will display a train layout of historic Macungie.

Macungie’s Town Beautification Committee will be selling McUNg souvenirs and 2011 Macungie Holiday Postcards at the Macungie Institute.

MACUNGIE HOLIDAY visitors should also make a stop at “Home for the Holidays” which is a unique shopping experience presented by select artisans.  You’ll step back in time as you enter this beautiful Victorian Home located at 20 W. Main Street.  This special Open House will be held on Friday, Dec. 9 from 2 – 8 pm and on Sat., Dec. 10 from 9 am – 5 pm.  A $1 donation at the door is for the American Cancer Society for breast cancer research.  Please no strollers or heels at this location.
