Reminder -- drivers must stop for School Buses

Just a reminder for all drivers...you  MUST STOP for school buses stopped on Rt. 100 (Main Street in Macungie) when they have their lights flashing and STOP SIGN out.  There is a school bus stop in front of the Macungie Institute and every afternoon this week, I heard a school bus driver blowing the horn at drivers who were flying by the bus as it was unloading students.  My office window overlooks the scene.  Some of the students were even in the middle of the street trying to cross to the other side as cars flew by.  Even when school buses are traveling north on Rt. 100 and cars are traveling south on Rt. 100, THEY MUST STOP for school buses with flashing lights.  One day, two cars flew by the stopped school bus, with lights flashing, while the bus driver was blowing the horn and waving her arm outside  the bus window.    Amazing........................
