Alburtis' Mayor Mader is 2nd in votes to win MAYOR OF THE YEAR!
Alburtis' Mayor Bob Mader is running 2nd to the Mayor of Portland - to win the Mayor of the Year award at tomorrow's Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber Mayor's Reception.
This year the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber is having some fun and fundraising for their annual Mayor of the Year Award – they’re letting the communities VOTE to pick the winner.
Alburtis’ own Mayor Mader is running SECOND – a couple more votes
will put him in the lead to win Mayor of the Year!
So first, please Vote4Mayor of the year yourself and second, encourage other community members, friends and family to Vote4Mayor of the year.

The Votes are $1.00 ea. (purchased in groups of 10 votes).
The fundraiser is for Main Street Lehigh Valley. These funds will
allow the Chamber Foundation to continue offering community grants to improve the Lehigh Valley.

Alburtis has received several of these grants, used towards initiatives such as welcome and holiday banners for the street poles, and gateway signs entering the borough.
The winning mayor will be awarded a $1000.00 community revitalization grant from the Main Street Lehigh Valley. The grant will be presented at the Mayors and Municipal Officials Reception tomorrow - Tues. October 16th.
