Obituary: Llewellyn Dottery, 91, of Macungie

Llewellyn Dottery, 91, of Macungie died Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, in Lehigh Valley Hospital's Hospice Unit.

Llewellyn D. Dottery, 91, of Macungie, died Dec. 31 in the Hospice Unit of the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Betty M. (Hein) Dottery. They celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on June 22, 2012.

Born in Catasauqua, he was a son of the late Harvey and Maude Dottery. He worked for the former Tyler Pipe Foundry in Macungie and Norwalk Truck Lines in Allentown for many years before retiring. He served his country in the U. S. Army.

Surviving with his wife: sons, Dean and his wife Robin of Zionsville, Brian of Allentown and Dawson of Allentown; daughters, Benedetta M. Warmkessel of Breinigsville and Robyn Reith of Allentown; five granddaughters and one grandson; six great grandchildren; three children, Robert, Richard and Darlene, from a previous marriage. He was predeceased by two daughters, Tammy and Pamela, two brothers and three sisters.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday, January 7, 2013, in the Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown. Burial with Military Honors at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown will follow. Call 10 a.m. in Trexler Funeral Home. Schmoyer Funeral Home, Breinigsville is in charge of arrangements.
