Obituary: Patricia Mae Detrick, 77

Patricia Mae Detrick, 77, of Macungie, formerly of Succasunna, NJ, died July 13, 2012 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the widow of Eugene Detrick, who died in 1995. Born in Dover, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Berta (Harder) Gaciala.

Detrick graduated from All Souls Hospital School of Nursing in Morristown, NJ, as a registered nurse in 1955. She worked in the operating room at Dover General Hospital for more than 10 years, and later for pediatricians Dr. Prakash, Dr. Collins and Dr. Sperling in Dover for more than 30 years.

Survivors: Daughter, Pamela, wife of Joseph Martin of Hackettstown, NJ; Son, Lee Detrick and wife, Sharon, of Alburtis; Grandsons, Brian and Kevin Detrick and Joseph Martin II, and best friend and caregiver, Carol Earnest of Macungie.

Services: Funeral arrangements were conducted by the Bermingham Funeral Home in Wharton, NJ.
