Sterling C. Singley, 84, of Macungie, died Nov. 3, 2013

Sterling C. Singley, 84, of Macungie, died November 3, 2013 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice. He was the widower of Elizabeth H. (Rue) Singley. Born in Arndtsville, he was the son of the late Carl W. and Fleeta F. (Taylor) Singley. He was a graduate of Iowa State University. He was the Plant Manager and Vice President of Marketing for Colebrook Farms, formerly Stewart Sandwich Service and later worked for Chernay Printing, retiring in 1996. He was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. He honorably served his country in the Army. He had a love of sports and was a pitcher in the Philadelphia Farm System and for the Army at Fort Riley, Kansas.

Survivors
Sons, Keith C. Singley and wife Gale of Macungie and Douglas D. Singley and wife Pam of Seisholtzville; Grandchildren, Nicholas and wife Kristine, Nathan, and Shea.  He was predeceased by a sister, Louise Singley.

Services
Funeral Services Fri., Nov. 8, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in Bethany United Methodist Church, 1208 Brookside Rd., Macungie, PA 18062. Viewing 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the church. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Macungie. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
