$15,000 Jewelry Theft Reported in Gated Community, Police Say
80-year-old says someone made fraudulent purchases with her credit card and took 26 jewelry items worth thousands, troopers report.
State police at Fogelsville are reporting what appears to be the second recent theft involving jewelry on Four Seasons Boulevard in Lower Macungie Township—this one to the tune of more than $15,000.
In the most recent report, an 80-year-old woman at 2114 Four Seasons Blvd. reported that a 22-year-old female suspect made an unstated amount of fraudulent purchasers with her credit card, police said. Further, the victim said 26 pieces of jewelry—valued at $15,000—are missing from her home.
The acts occurred between Nov. 1, 2012 and March 11, police said.

Police recently reported another theft on Four Seasons Boulevard in the Four Seasons at Farmington development, a gated community in the township. In that alleged theft, a 22-year-old suspect, unspecified whether the same one, took a 14-karat yellow gold ring with a 1-carat diamond center and additional diamonds from an 80-year-old resident at 2189 Four Seasons Blvd.
No value was placed on the loss, but the theft took place between March 1 and 11, police said.

Police do not note that charges have been brought against any suspect.
