3 Injured in Crash on Lower Macungie Road
State police at Fogelsville said one driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries, while the other driver and her 2-year-old passenger were taken to LVH-Cedar Crest for minor injuries.
Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 5:50 p.m. Tuesday on Lower Macungie Road, at S. Krocks Road.
Police said Alexis Leitner-Cohen, 17, of Macungie was traveling west on Lower Macungie Road approaching the intersection with S. Krocks Road. They said Allison Thompson, 30, of East Texas was stopped at a trafflic signal on S. Krocks Road, then entered the intersection when it was struck by Leitner-Cohen's car.
Leitner-Cohen was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Thompson and her 2-year-old passenger were taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest for treatment of unknown injuries, police said.
