Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 610-395-1438.

State police are investigating a break-in at the Tyler Pipe Company, 3550 Brookside Road, Lower Macungie, in late September in which seven fire extinguishers were stolen.

State police said one or more thieves first broke into a company garage, scattering chairs, sometime between Sept. 27 and Sept. 29. Then they broke a door window into a crate building and stole two fire extinguishers. Next the suspects went into the Dip building, broke an office window and took four fire extinguishers, police said. They stole another fire extinguisher from a detached shed.

The thief or thieves went down a dirt embankment and left the fire extinguishers. Police say they found four plastic chairs around a man-made fire pit and initials spray-painted that included RGW, CLD, SCH, Rachel, JTM and CAPRI.
