Burglar Snatches More Than $5,000 in Loot

Lower Macungie home hit for jewelry, TVs and game system, police say.

A Lower Macungie Township woman recently returned home to find that someone had helped themselves to several thousand dollars worth of her belongings, according to police.

Megan Mary McLaughlin of the 3700 block of Knight Drive reported the burglary at her home, according to .

She reported the theft of jewelry valued at $5,000, two televisions, and a Wii game console with accessories and several games, police said. A total value of the merchandise was not provided.

McLaughlin told police the burglary took place between July 2 and 7.
