Burglar Takes Jewelry—Boxes and All, Police Say

Criminal mischief and burglary incidents also reported.

Criminal mischief: Reported by Kay Chrin overnight March 1; an unknown substance was thrown at the front window of Designer Re-Runs at 4887 Hamilton Blvd., police said; no damage estimate provided.

Theft: Unknown motorist fueled at the Giant gas station at 7150 Hamilton Blvd. at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 15 but drove off without paying, police said; no description given; $53.75 value.

Charged: Sean Joseph Cook of Allentown with retail theft; at 12:35 p.m. March at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road; Cook attempted to return merchandise for credit for which he had not paid, police said; $159 value.

Criminal mischief: Reported by James Carl Snyder at N. Hedgerow Drive and Barnside Court between 1:30 and 10:30 a.m. March 3; passenger's side window of vehicle broken, police said; no value given.

Burglary: Reported by Marie A. Kollar of the 2600 block of Saddle Lane; residence entered and several pieces of jewelry and jewelry boxes were taken between 2:30 p.m. Feb. 27 and 9 a.m. Feb. 28, police said; no value given.
