Daytime Burglary Strikes Wild Cherry Knoll Home

State police say undetermined amount of jewelry taken between noon and 2pm Monday.


A burglar or burglars forced their way into the Lower Macungie home of a 74-year-old man Monday afternoon and escaped with an undetermined amount of jewelry, police said.

The burglary occurred between noon and 2pm on the 2600 block of Terrwood Drive West in the Wild Cherry Knoll development, a state police fax said.

The fax said forced entry was gained through the front door. The burglar or burglars went through both bedrooms, took an undetermined amount of jewelry and fled out the back door in an unknown direction.

An investigation continues. Anyone with information should call state police at 610-395-1438.
