Drive-Thru Robbery at TD Bank

State Police at Fogelsville seek information regarding person who drove up and demanded cash.

State police at Fogelsville are looking for a man they say robbed the in Lower Macungie Township Monday evening.

The man entered the drive-thru at the bank at 5980 Hamilton Blvd. about 7:15 p.m. and demanded cash, police said. According to bank information listed on-line, the main teller windows were closed for the day, but the drive-thru was to remain open until 8 p.m. Police did not say if the man showed or said he had a weapon.

The bank robbery was one of three reported Monday in the Lehigh Valley. The Firstrust at 701 Hamilton St., Allentown, was robbed about 11:30 a.m. The Sovereign Bank at 2191 W. Union Blvd., Bethlehem, was held up about 3:15 p.m., according to on-line reports.

The bank employee provided state police with descriptive information on the driver and the vehicle, but authorities ask anyone with information to contact state police at Fogelsville at 610-395-1438.

A bulletin broadcast Monday night said the man was operating a green Ford vehicle and that the license plate began with the letters "YZ."
