Drivers Not Seriously Hurt in Head-On Crash by Shepherd Hills
Southbound car crosses center line on S. Krocks Road in Monday afternoon crash, police say.
Neither driver was not seriously injured in a head-on crash Monday afternoon involving nearly new cars in the Shepherd Hills development.
State police say a southbound car on S. Krocks Road driven by Jamieson L. Chorney, 39, of Macungie crossed the center line and crashed into a northbound car driven by Thomas H. Blacker, 61, of Allentown.
EMS personnel treated Chorney, who was not wearing a seat belt, for a "moderate injury." They treated Blacker, who was wearing a seat belt, for a "minor injury," the police fax says. Neither was transported to a hospital.
The fax does not say if any charges have been filed. The crash happened near S. Krocks' intersection with Fairway Lane.
Both Chorney's 2013 Hyundai Sonata and Blacker's 2013 Chevrolet -- the model was not listed -- sustained heavy front-end damage and were towed by Faust Towing.
