Gun Theft Case in Lower Mac has Suspect, Police Say

The following information was supplied by troopers at the barracks in Fogelsville. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Theft: Reported Nov. 6 by Michaels Power of Neenah, Wisc.; spool of aluminum wire taken from their property at 7879 Quarry Road, police said; $500 value.

Theft: Reported Nov. 17 in the 1700 block of Riverbend Road; Hilti Te35 hammer drill and drill bits stolen from basement, police said; tools belonged to Dual Temp of Allentown; items taken between Nov. 6 and 17; $700 value.

Criminal mischief: Reported Nov. 18 by Vickie Faith Lundquist in the 4600 block of Sauerkraut Lane; rear window of home damaged between Nov. 16 and 18 by bb pellet, police said; no value given.

Theft from motor vehicle: Reported Nov. 18 by Derek Hunsinger at 7481 Foxglove Place; unspecified amount of money and Tom-Tom GPS taken from vehicle at residence between 7 p.m. Nov. 17 and 1 p.m. Nov. 18, police said; no value given.

Theft from motor vehicle: Reported Nov. 14 by Matthew Eugene Shollenberger of Emmaus; iPhone taken from console of his unlocked vehicle parked at Weis Market, 3369 Route 100 between 10:15 and 10:40 p.m., police said; no value given.

Theft: Reported Nov. 17 by a 42-year-old man at 5134 Lower Macungie Road; black Glock handgun Model 40, Serial Number PNU217, was removed from his residence between Nov. 10 and 17, police said; 41-year-old man is a suspect; police ask that anyone who comes in contact with the gun contact them at 610-395-1438; no value given.
