Burglar Broke Into Lower Macungie Home, Police Say

Police reports include burglary, forgery, harassment and shoplifting

Harassment: Reported at 6 p.m. Feb. 5 by Cole Russell Hager of 7128 Periwinkle Drive; unnamed suspect sent him threatening text messages, police said; investigation continuing.

Charged: Tammy Callahan of Kutztown and Brigitte Andrews of Allentown; at 4:30 p.m. Feb. 3 with retail theft at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road; both made a "no-receipt return" of an item each that they had not paid for but received a gift card as compensation; the two fraudulently purchased items with the gift cards, police said.

Forgery: Reported by Scott Alan Gracely of the 6700 block of Riegals Drive; someone cashed a check with the victim's name on it using the victim's bank between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., police said; amount not given.

Burglary: Reported by a homeowner on Shasta Lane at 8:29 p.m. Feb. 5; someone forcibly entered the residence, but police made no mention of anything taken.
