Large Propane Tank Stolen in Lower Mac, Police Say
The following alleged incidents in Lower Macungie have been reported by state police at Fogelsville.
Charged: Rebecca Nicole Wetzel, 31, of Alburtis with retail theft and conspiracy to commit retail theft at 12:21 p.m. March 23; conspired with a 17-year-old Alburtis girl to take items including costume jewelry, baby formula and pain reliever from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, police said; $159.57 total value; Wetzel held in Lehigh County Prison under $7,500 bail and charges waived to court at a preliminary hearing April 1, according to online court records; disposition of juvenile unknown.
Arrests do not indicate conviction.
Theft/fraud/forgery: Reported by a 53-year-old Allentown-area woman; victim's wallet was taken from the parking lot at 1042 Mill Creek Road between 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. March 17, police said; wallet contained a credit card, $180 and other items; credit card was later used at stores in Lehighton for charges of unspecified amounts.

Theft: Reported April 5 by Deiter Brothers of Bethlehem; 120-gallon propane tank stolen from 8399 Hensingerville Road, police said; described as white with a green sticker reading "Greenworks" and with serial number 933982; no value given.
