Lock Thwarts After-hours CVS Shopper, Police Say
Someone tried to enter the Lower Macungie Township pharmacy, but was unable to gain entry, troopers report.
Whether a visitor was too late to buy a birthday card, wanted a pack of gum or perhaps was up to something more nefarious, someone tried to force open the doors at a Lower Macungie Township pharmacy, police said.
According to state police at Fogelsville, the lock was damaged but did not release to open the front doors at the CVS at 958 S. Krocks Road.
The incident is listed as an attempted burglary or perhaps criminal mischief. The activity took place between 9:36 p.m. March 29 and 7:45 a.m. March 30, police said.
