Lower Mac Vandalism Locks People Out of Their Homes
Police say report of substance poured in door lock is fourth such criminal mischief report in two months in Lower Macungie.
Seems there's a new trend going around Lower Macungie Township these days.
It isn't some new party game, clothing fad or the next gotta-have electronics device.
Instead, the activity increasing in frequency is the act of pouring a substance -- at this point unidentified by police -- into a door lock and making it inoperable. According to state police at Fogelsville, the most recent incident occurred between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. Sept. 28 at Valley Ridge Apartments along Lower Macungie Road.
