reported a record-breaking year in 2010, with 2,913 calls for assistance. This was up from the previous record of 2,504 calls in 2008.
The service area for the ambulance corps includes Alburtis, Lower Macungie Township, Macungie and the western half of Upper Milford Township.
Macungie Ambulance also can be requested at any given time by any emergency response agency within Lehigh County and the surrounding area. Of the 2,913 calls, 303 were outside the corps' primary coverage area.

Macungie Ambulance Corps’ Division of Special Operations responded to 31 calls for assistance in 2010. The ATV unit was used in six of these incidents. Only five of these calls were in the primary coverage area; the remaining 26 incidents ranged from Walnutport, to the Interstate near Hellertown, to the Spinnerstown area.
