Man Charged with Grabbing Woman by Throat

He also hurt her arm in Lower Macungie altercation, police say.

An Allentown-area man recently was cited for harassment for  grabbing a woman by the throat in Lower Macungie Township, according to

Bradley Jerome Hall, 25, was involved in an argument with a 22-year-old woman, who was not identified by police. Hall allegedly injured the woman when he grabbed her arm and later grabbed her by the throat. The altercation took place at 1199 Eagle St.

Police did not disclose the relationship of Hall and the woman.

Charged: Shawn Arrington of Allentown; May 6 for having indirect contact with Abigail Wakefield, who had an active protection-from-abuse order against him, police said; the incident occurred at Hamilton Boulevard and Krocks Road South.

Charged: Janice Michelle Rullan and John Rivera, both of 2898 Sequoia Drive, Macungie; May 16 with harassment; verbal argument began when Jennifer Michell Parrilla of the same address arrived and began removing her belongings from the property, police said; confrontation escalated to slapping and shoving of the Parrilla.

Theft: Reported May 13 at 2199 Greenmeadow Drive; iPod taken from unlocked vehicle at the residence, police said; no value given.

Theft: Reported May 12 by Margaret Minman, 1110 Greenleaf Circle; mail taken from mailbox, police said.

Theft: Reported May 12 in the 2900 block of Whitemarsh Place; GPS and cell phone taken from unlocked vehicle in front of the residence, police said; $220 total value.

Arrested: Andrze Rzymski, 21, of Woodbridge, N.J.; April 30 for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance; stopped at a police checkpoint on Route 222 at Krocks Road and found to have a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia, police said.
