Man Charged With Looking at Nude Women in McDonald's Playland

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office. It does not indicate a conviction.

In January, a 53-year-old Macungie man was caught looking at images of naked women on his computer at Playland in Upper Macungie Township.

Today, officially charged James H. Kleber, of 7400 Juniper Circle, Macungie, with one count of possessing obscene or other sexual materials, a first-degree misdemeanor, and one summary offense of disorderly conduct, according to a release from the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office.

Kleber was arraigned and was released on $5,000 unsecured bail.

According to the release:

Berks-Lehigh Regional Police Officer Darren W. Simmers was called to the McDonald's at 6896 Hamilton Blvd., Upper Macungie Township, on a report of a man looking at pornographic images on his laptop in view of customers. This was at about 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 30.

When officer Simmers entered the restaurant, he saw Kleber sitting at a table with his laptop computer inside Playland. On the screen was an image of a woman who was naked above the waist.

During the investigation, police determined that two McDonalds’ patrons and a 4-year-old child saw one of the images. The release also says that an examination of Kleber’s computer found emails with embedded pornographic images.

A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for June 27.
