A man choked a 14-year-old boy having an argument with his grandmother in an Ancient Oaks living room, then lifted him by the throat and carried him to the kitchen before releasing him, police say.
State police at Fogelsville said charges would be filed against John Foreaker, 35, in connection with the incident Dec. 18 on the 1700 block of Beech Lane, Lower Macungie.
Police labeled the case as a "simple assault," but online court records do not have any information about it. Police did not say how Foreaker and the boy may be related.
Police said Foreaker is suspected of coming into the living room from a second-floor bedroom around 7:50 a.m. during the argument and choking the boy.
After allegedly carrying the boy by his throat into the kitchen and releasing him, Foreaker is suspected of running out of the house through the front door and fleeing in a truck whose make and model were unknown. Foreaker is suspected of driving off in an unknown direction.
Police said charges would be filed through the office of District Judge Michael Faulkner of Upper Macungie.
Police not give any information about the boy's possible injuries.
