19-Year-Old Gave Vodka to 4 Teens at Park, Police Say

Two 13-year-old girls became highly intoxicated, and one was taken to a hospital, police said.

A 19-year-old Connecticut man faces charges of corruption of minors after allegedly providing vodka to two girls and two boys at 7:23 p.m. Saturday at Timber Ridge Park in Lower Macungie.

State police at Fogelsville said two 13-year-old girls were highly intoxicated, and one had to be taken to St. Luke's Hospital.  

A 14-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy also were provided the vodka, police said. 

Quentin Reed Harris, of Sherman, Conn., instructed the teens, all of Wescosville, to drink the vodka, police said.

According to online court records, Harris is charged with four counts of corruption of minors, four counts of furnishing liquor to a minor and one count of purchase of an alcoholic beverage by a minor.

District Judge Karen Devine set bail at $10,000.
