The incident occurred on Reservoir Hill Road, troopers report.

A man used a toy to attempt to lure two boys into a vehicle on Friday afternoon in Lower Macungie Township, according to police.

The incident occurred at 2:30 p.m. at 4346 Reservoir Hill Road, according to state police at Fogelsville. A man in a black car tried to get the two boys -- ages 8 and 11 -- into his black sedan by enticing them with an unspecified toy.

Although general in description, a black sedan also was being sought in a previous luring incident in the township. The sedan being sought on Oct. 25  had tinted windows.

It is unknown whether the car in the most recent incident had tinted windows or whether that detail simply was not reported to police.

In the October incident, a man attempted to lure a 9-year-old boy into his vehicle at 4647 Berwyn Lane. The man said, "I just came from Giant, and I want you to try some of my ice cream," police said at the time. The boy ran and the man drove away.
