'Death Threat' Yields Harassment Charge at Lower Mac Warehouse, Police say

The following Lower Macungie Township incidents have been reported by state police. They do not indicate conviction.

Charged: 26-year-old with retail theft at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road; shopper with retail theft at 5:10 p.m. Sept. 26 for attempting to take $344.51 worth of merchandise from the store, police said; accused also pushed a store employee while attempting to flee.

Theft from motor vehicle: Reported by Keith W. and Stephanie Morcom; unlocked vehicle entered between 1 and 7:20 a.m. Aug. 21 at 3190 Sheffield Drive, police said; numerous unspecified items taken with no value provided.

Criminal mischief: Reported by Dalton Lynn Rumfield, 43, of 5804 Sandtrap Lane; bb pellet shot through rear bathroom window of residence between Sept. 23 and 30, police said; no damage estimate given.

Charged: Scottie Dorsey, 37, of Allentown at 1 a.m. Sept. 29 with harassment; Dorsey cursed at James McClafferty, 38, of Allentown at 7570 Industrial Park Way; Dorsey next challenged McClafferty to go outside, fight him and he would kill him, police said; eventually Dorsey left the property; McClaffery also left and contacted police; Quality Packaging Specialists International, a pharmaceutical packaging company, is listed as the occupant of the property.

Theft: Reported by a 17-year-old Wescosville boy; beige or copper Trek racing bicycle taken from deck of residence at 1171 Driver Place, police said; $345 loss reported.
