Police: Lower Mac Resident Is Victim of Credit Card Fraud

Victim's personal information used to open credit card accounts at several New Jersey department stores, police say.

Someone opened and made use of credit card accounts at several New Jersey department stores in September by fraudulently using the personal information of a Lower Macungie resident, police said.

State police at Fogelsville called the case "access device fraud" that occurred between Sept. 13-15 (a Friday through Sunday) and between 8am and 4pm.

The victim lives on Pleasant Circle, police said. The person or persons committing the fraud used the victim's name, address and "personal information."

"No suspect can be named at this time," the police fax said.
