Police Seek Red Pickup in L. Mac Hit-and-Run
Police say pickup rear-ended minivan Christmas Eve at Mill Creek Road and Hamilton Boulevard.
Police are looking for a red Ford F-150 pickup that rear-ended a minivan Christmas Eve on Mill Creek Road at Hamilton Boulevard in Lower Macungie and kept going.
State police at Fogelsville said the minivan, a green Dodge Caravan, was waiting to turn right onto westbound Hamilton from southbound Mill Creek when it was hit from behind by the pickup, which did not stop and fled west on Hamilton.
Driving the minivan was a 44-year-old woman from Breinigsville. A state police fax listed the pickup driver's description as "unknown." The crash occurred around 1pm.
No injuries were reported. The minivan sustained moderate damage but the woman was able to drive it away.
Anyone with information about the hit-and-run is asked to call state police at Fogelsville at 610-395-1438.
