Police Seek to Reunite Computer with Owner

Lower Macungie shopping center reports air-conditioning equipment stolen from roof, police say.

Missing a computer? State police might have it for you.

Police said an older model Apple iBook notebook was found in a field at Celia and Dayspring drives in Lower Macungie Township. A March 10 report said the computer is blue and noted it could be missing from a school.

Call state police at Fogelsville at 610-395-1438 to claim it.

In another matter, police said someone apparently used a ladder to steal six condensing units and copper pipes from the roof of Cedar Shopping Center.

No value was given, but police said it appears someone went on the roof of the shopping center in the 7000 block of Hamilton Boulevard between March 25 and April 8 and removed the equipment from the cooling units.

Theft: Reported by Richard Cannon of the 3300 block of Watermill Drive, Lower Macungie; GPS valued at $600, $8 in coins and a $40 flashlight taken from unlocked vehicle between 12:30 and 7:30 a.m. April 5, police said.

Theft: Reported by 15-year-old girl; cell phone stolen from locker at Lower Macungie Middle School, Lower Macungie Road, police said; $300 value.

Cited: Two 16-year-old girls with summary retail theft; allegedly attempted to several items April 4 from Kohl's, 6900 Hamilton Blvd., police said; no value given.

Arrested: Joseph James McMahon, 21, of Allentown; 1:47 a.m. April 5 for driving under the influence at the Route 222 Bypass near Krocks Road; driver stopped for multiple traffic violations arrested for suspicion of drunken driving, police said.

Arrested: Ryan Solomon, no age given, of Allentown; 3:23 a.m. March 27 for driving under the influence on Lower Macungie Road at Little Spur; driver was observed swaying within his lane and leaving his lane three times; displayed signs of intoxication during vehicle stop, police said; arrested for suspicion of DUI and several traffic offenses.

Arrested: Jennifer Homwood, no age given, of the 1300 block of Mashie Drive, Macungie; 9:22 p.m. April 2 for driving under the influence at 1160 S. Krocks Road; driver was stopped for a traffic violation and arrested for suspicion on DUI, police said.

Cited: Matthew Hoffman, 19, of Emmaus; April 7 with summary retail theft;  attempted to conceal clothing and a DVD in Wal-Mart-1091 Millcreek Road, police said.

Criminal mischief: Reported overnight April 8 by Paul David Leschinsky, 39, of Lower Macungie and Kristie Lee Hinkle, 20, of Emmaus; black spray paint painted on a garage at 4674 Berwyn Lane and on a vehicle at Berwyn Lane and Strathmore Drive, police said; no value of damage given.

Burglary: Reported April 9 by Michelle Jennifer Regec of 7980 Mountain Road, Apt. C; forcible entry and items taken including Wii, iPod and jewelry including a wedding ring, police said; no value given.

In a Longswamp Township incident:

Cited: Lisa L. Coryell of Titusville, N.J.; April 8 with assault and harassment for allegedly punching Nancy L. Scholz of Allentown in the face; Coryell crossed a barricaded area while attending the Tough Mudder at , 101 Doe Mountain Lane, and was confronted by staff members when the altercation occurred, police said.
