Police: Woman in Quarry Park had Drug Paraphernalia

Troopers investigated area woman who was parked in Lower Macungie Park after sunset, they say.

Little suggests "up to no good" to police more than being in a park after dark.

Might as well just have a neon sign saying, "Stop and frisk me now."

In this case, no sign was necessary when police say they found a Macungie-area woman in Lower Macungie Park along Quarry Road at 8:52 p.m. Dec. 12. Maribel Guerrero, 18, was in her car when police stopped to question her.

Questioning led to a search, which yielded several pieces of drug paraphernalia, according to state police at Fogelsville.

Guerrero was arrested and charged with possessing drug paraphernalia, police said. Charges were filed through the office of Magisterial Districut Judge Michael Faulkner in Upper Macungie Township.
