Reading Man Found Dead in Alburtis

A 26-year-old Reading man was found dead Saturday morning in an apartment in Alburtis, according to information from the Lehigh County coroner's office.

Zachery Patterson of 631 Washington St. was pronounced dead at 9:12 a.m. by Deputy Coroner Craig Hanzl, the release said. He was inside 107 S. Main St. in the borough.

It is unknown whether the circumstances are suspicious.

The cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy scheduled for July 2, according to the release.

An ambulance had been called to Apt. 10 for the victim, according to emergency scanner transmissions. However, the coroner's office was called to the scene.
