Shot Fired in Armed Home Invasion, Police Say

A teen was hit in the face with the butt of a gun in a Lower Macungie home invasion and robbery, according to state police

A 17-year-old boy hit another teen in the face with the butt of a gun, fired a shot at him and stole his backpack in a home on Elbow Lane in Lower Macungie Township on Wednesday, according to a state police press release issued Saturday.

The accused teen left in his father's vehicle, police said. Two other young men—ages 15 and 16—were with him and are being charged with conspiracy.

Police said the 16- and 17-year-old boys are in juvenile detention.
