State Police Release Lower Macungie Incidents

The following information was supplied by troopers at the barracks in Fogelsville. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

released the following recent incidents involving Lower Macungie Township:

Access device fraud: Reported Aug. 31 by Vijay R. Rajam of the 6800 block of Hunt Drive; fraudulent withdrawal of $30 against victim's Visa account, police said.

Theft from motor vehicle: Reported Sept. 10 by Jean Pierre Augustin of the 1700 Block of Brookside Drive; vehicle window smashed and GPS and compact discs stolen from interior in rear parking lot of Bieber bus terminal at Hamilton Boulevard, police said; no value given.

Charged: Bernard Eugen Wilmer of Highstown, N.J.; Sept. 6 with violating Protection-from-Abuse Order involving Lisa G. Wilmer at 2191 Rolling Meadow Drive, police said; transported to Lehigh County Prison, arraigned and released on $50,000 unsecured bail.

Criminal mischief: Reported Sept. 7 by Richard Becker of Fleetwood, Berks County; object shot through back driver's-side window of vehicle, police said; $125 value.

Theft: Reported Sept. 6 by Anthony and andrea Schuler of the 6600 block of Rutherford Drive; watches and an iPad removed from the residence, police said.

Theft: Reported Sept. 10 by Deborah Lewis of the 500 block of N. Lumber Street of Allentown; purse removed from shopping cart at Wal-Mart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, police said; cash, credit cards and cell phone were inside purse; no value given.
