State Police Release Lower Macungie Incidents

The following incidents have been reported by state police. They do not indicate conviction.

recently reported the following incidents in Lower Macungie Township:

Sobriety checkpoint: Held at Route 222 at Krocks Road; 0 DUI arrests, 2 drug possession arrests, 12 traffic citations and 26 traffic warnings reported June 4.

Criminal mischief: Reported May 23 by Cory P. Reube of 1929 Black River Road, Upper Saucon Township; unknown person or persons struck his vehicle's front fender with a blunt object, causing two small dents, police said; no damage estimate provided.

Theft: Reported June 3 by Kevin L. Strauss of the 6800 block of Lincoln Drive; lawn mower taken, police said; $400 value.

Charged: Brent J. Evangelista, 41, of 5636 Wood Lane, Wescosville, June 10 with harassment of an unnamed 41-year-old female in the 1100 block of Grange Road; police responded to a report of a domestic dispute and the victim reported being slapped in the face, police said.

Charged: Robert Daniel Anderson, 22, of 6255 Sage Drive and Gisell Frias, 18, of 3881 Fire Brick Road, both of Macungie; June 11 at 2:14 a.m. at 7125 Scenic View Drive; police responded to an activated alarm at a park building and found the two present after permitted park hours, police said; charged both with possession of marijuana, trespass and underage drinking for Frias.

Charged: Brittany Louise Palmer, 19, of Alburtis and a 17-year-old female from Alburtis; June 4 with retail theft at Wal-Mart, 1091 Mill Creek Road; attempted to leave store with cosmetics and hair-care items, police said; no value given.

Charged: Ashley Trinkle, 18, of Allentown and Mari Ann Bostick, 20, of Upper Macungie Township; June 7 with retail theft at Wal-Mart, 1091 Mill Creek Road; attempted bo remove $122 in merchandise without paying full price, police said.

Charged: Lara Jenae Brantley, 22, of Breinigsville: June 10 with retail theft at Kohl's, 6900 Hamilton Blvd.; hid two pairs of shorts in her purse and attempted to leave store without paying, police said.

Charged: Jennifer Ann Seidel, 29, of Alburtis; June 7 with retail theft at Kohl's, 6900 Hamilton Blvd.; attempted to remove $118 in merchandise from store without paying, police said; second offense, police reported.
