State Police Release Lower Macungie Incidents
The following information was supplied by troopers at the barracks in Fogelsville. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
The following incidents recently were reported by involving Lower Macungie Township:
Terrorist threats: Reported Sept. 20 at Route 222 at Kressler Road; driver of a dark Ford Ranger cut in front of a 36-year-old Allentown driver, threatened him and waved a dark-colored pistol at him at 3:33 p.m., police said; witnesses are asked to call police at 610-395-1438.
Identity theft: Reported Sept. 8 by a 44-year-old woman living in the 6000 block of Sauerkraut Lane; victim's information was used to open a credit card at Nordstom in New Jersey, which led to unauthorized $3,000 purchase, police said.

Charged: Tarah Bartholomew of Emmaus Sept. 16 in the 3000 block of S. Cedar Crest Boulevard; Bartholomew scratched and hit Amber Capron of Emmaus, police said.
Theft: Reported Sept. 21 by contractor Allan A. Meyers; galvanized steel and metal splices taken from 7662 Alburtis Road, police said; no value given.

Charged: 17-year-old juvenile with burglary and trespass Aug. 24; juvenile entered open garage and ran without taking anything at 1500 Cherry Lane, police said.
Identity theft: Reported recently, but occurred in 2005 or 2006, by Anthony Joseph Stellabonte of 3490 Chester Drive; victim's Social Security Number was used to open an account at an area business, police said; no value given.
Theft from motor vehicle: Reported Sept. 19 by Wendy Irene Schaffer; unlocked vehicle entered and purse and gym bag were taken at 6480 Alburtis Road, police said; no value given.
Charged: 16-year-old girl from Emmaus; Sept. 16 for taking Halloween costume items from , 1091 Millcreek Road, police said; $32 value; processed at Lehigh County Central Booking Center and released to parents.
Harassment: Reported Sept. 14 by a 9-year-old Alburtis-area boy at Lower Macungie Park, Spring Creek Road and Route 100; three Alburtis-area boys, ages 10-12, accused of pushing the 9-year-old, punching him in the head area and kicking him in the stomach, police said; 9-year-old ran from the park and told his mother, who reported the incident to police.
