State Police Release Lower Macungie Incidents

recently released the following incidents in Lower Macungie Township:

Charged: Jalil Jamal Jacques, 23, of Reading, Berks County; July 16 with receiving stolen property, firearms not to be carried without a license, persons not to possess firearms; Jacquess was passenger in a vehicle stopped for an alleged motor vehicle violation; search produced accused had a handgunt reported stolen in Reading, police said; held on $50,000 bail.

Theft from motor vehicle: Reported July 20 by 25-year-old; GPS, phone charger, walkie-talkie and other items taken from vehicle at 2409 River Rock Road, police said; total value not given.

Theft from motor vehicle/access device stolen: Reported July 20 by Allison Carol Moreland at 5571 Spring Ridge Drive W.; purse and other items including bank card taken, police said; bank card used twice; no value given.

Criminal mischief: Reported by three Cold Creek Road residents July 18; assorted items stolen from vehicles belonging to three neighbors, police said; no value given.

Charged:  Tina Bausch, 6714 Lower Macungie Road; July 7 with harassment at the location; pushed Scott Thomas, of Hausman Avenue, South Whitehall Township, police said.

Theft from motor vehicle: Reported July 17 by Brittny Marie Montanari of Wescosville in the 1100 block of Driver Place; items valued at $495 taken from unlocked vehicle, police said.

Theft from motor vehicle: Reported July 15 by woman at 911 Cold Spring Road; wallet taken with credit cards and iPod, police said; no vlaue given.

Theft from motor vehicle: Reported July 18 by Lisa Reppert in the 2400 block of Thistle Road; unspecified items taken from unlocked car, police said.

Identity theft: Reported June 24 by Jennifer Wilson Shaveri of 6074 Eli Circle; unauthorized charges to her credit card totaling $3,240, police said.
