Charged: Jalil Jamal Jacques, 23, of Reading, Berks County; July 16 with receiving stolen property, firearms not to be carried without a license, persons not to possess firearms; Jacquess was passenger in a vehicle stopped for an alleged motor vehicle violation; search produced accused had a handgunt reported stolen in Reading, police said; held on $50,000 bail.
Theft from motor vehicle: Reported July 20 by 25-year-old; GPS, phone charger, walkie-talkie and other items taken from vehicle at 2409 River Rock Road, police said; total value not given.

Identity theft: Reported June 24 by Jennifer Wilson Shaveri of 6074 Eli Circle; unauthorized charges to her credit card totaling $3,240, police said.
