Stolen Car Found in Lower Macungie

2013 Audi found at bus terminal was reported taken from New York City, police say.

New cars don't just set on public parking lots unattended.

That must have been the suspicion when police checked on a 2013 Audi A4 with a New York registration plate that was parked along a busy Lower Macungie Township highway at 10:15 a.m. Feb. 28.

The car, parked at the at 4440 Hamilton Blvd., was found to be stolen from New York City, according to . The car was towed to the state police barracks for further processing. Police did not say whether the car was damaged.

Other police incidents reported in Lower Macungie are as follows:

Charged: Bryan Rodriguez-Marrero, 22, of Allentown; Feb. 28 with drug possession following a traffic stop at Reppert Lane and Grange Road; police said they noticed an odor of marijauna coming from the vehicle during the stop and that the accused admitted there was a smoking device under the front driver's seat.

Charged: Thomas Limpar, 49 of Allentown; Feb. 28 with retail theft at , 1091 Mill Creek Road; concealed $25.58 in merchandise without intending to pay for it, police said; second retail theft offense, so charged with midemeanor retail theft.
